MEMM Show

MEMM stands for "In the Wrong Place at the Wrong Time" (Au Mauvais Endroit au Mauvais Moment). For Alice, this wrong place is Paris. And this wrong time is November 13, 2015, when the acrobat-volunteer is shot in the arm. On stage, accompanied on drums by Raphaël de Pressigny (from the band Feu! Chatterton!), Alice recounts, through body and music, her reconstruction.

This striking duo of circus and music focuses not on the drama, but on the aftermath. The aftermath that is sometimes comical, sometimes crazy, sometimes filled with anger. On a hospital bed placed on stage, Alice transcends her pain and rediscovers the lightness of the acrobat. By bringing beauty and laughter out of chaos, MEMM shows us that while the path to healing is long, in the end, it is life that triumphs.
