  • Thursday

    11:00 - 20:00

FRAMERATE: Pulse of the Earth unveils the alterations of landscapes caused by human industry and natural forces: destruction, extraction, habitation, construction, harvesting, growth, and erosion.

Created from thousands of 3D digital models of natural and urban landscapes, FRAMERATE allows for the observation of their evolution on a scale impossible to grasp with traditional cameras and photography.

Bridging art and science, the data collected for the creation of FRAMERATE constitutes a valuable scientific database for research. Immerse yourself in these mutating landscapes through a hypnotic visual and auditory experience.

FRAMERATE: Pulse of the Earth has been exhibited at La Biennale Venice International Film Festival, COP 26, SXSW, BFI London Film Festival and Centre PHI in Montreal.

FRAMERATE: Pulse of the Earth by ScanLAB Projects is presented as part of CYBER STRUCTURES: Material Realities – Digital Experiences, the inaugural programme of Elektron in collaboration with local cultural institutions.
